Hey there! My name is Abby, better known as Megami online. I'm a freelance digital artist located in British Columbia, Canada. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences and am currently working towards a career in Health Administration.Some areas of interest include character art, graphic design, and illustration. I take a lot of inspiration from anime, video games, fashion, and music. You'll find that I love drawing skies and integrating aspects of Filipino culture.Take care~

The following Terms of Service Agreement is effective January 29, 2020. Revised on September 3, 2023.
By commissioning me in any kind of way, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions :

I. General TermsA. Please keep contact respectful. Any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in the cancellation of all commissions.C. I, the artist, have the right to decline a commission if there is failure to comply with the following rules.

II. PaymentA. Prices vary between tiers of commissions as indicated. Additional fees may be included per request (ex. additional details)B. The commissioner must pay the full amount upfront.C. Payment is accepted via PayPal invoices.D. Commissions will begin once payment has been accepted.!! Additional alterations made at any point of the commission process are subject to additional fees at the end of the commission !!

III. ProcessA. Proper reference photos must be submitted by the commissioner during consultation.B. If requested, a very rough sketch may be provided before payment.C. Consistent progress updated will be given for approval at each step.D. Date of completion (unless a due date is discussed) may vary depending on factors such as:
⇢ Complexity
⇢ Health (mental, physical, or social)
⇢ Other important personal circumstancesE. Commissioners will be notified immediately if issues arise throughout any step of the process.

IV. Customer SatisfactionA. Once a commission has been accepted, I will do all that I can to uphold the satisfaction of the commissioner.B. Only minor errors may be fixed after a commission is complete upon request. For example, colouring or line corrections.C. Any large changes will be subject to additional fees.
⇢ Ex. restarting the commission, changing a background or pose, etc.
⇢ To avoid unnecessary changes and fees, please provide proper reference photos/descriptions for your commission!

V. Copyright and Usage PolicyA. I, the artist, hold the right to the product, not the commissioner.B. Therefore, I am able to use the copyrighted artwork to:
⇢ Promote myself in any place or site.
⇢ Post it to my social media or portfolio at any point in time.C. The commissioner is allowed to:
⇢ Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use only (unless agreed otherwise).
⇢ Print the art (not for distribution).
⇢ Claim the right to the concept, but not the artwork itself.
⇢ Use the artwork to promote themselves (proper credit to the artist is required).
⇢ If copyright infringement is broken in any way, all rights to the artwork will be retracted.D. Copyright infringement includes:
⇢Reproducing or using the artwork commercially as a means for monetary gain.
⇢ Taking credit for the artwork.
⇢ Removing signatures or watermarks.
⇢ Altering the artwork without the artist’s consent.E. Purchase to commercial rights to either illustrative or non-illustrative artwork will always be 250% of the original price.
⇢ Purchasing commercial rights will allow the commissioner the right to make merchandise with the artwork.
⇢ Credit is still required for the usage of the artwork (even after alterations or edits).

VI. Cancelling and Refunding PolicyA. I, the artist, have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.B. A commission can be cancelled and refunded depending on the circumstance:
⇢ 75% of what you have paid will be refunded if you cancel prior to or during the sketching stage.
⇢ No refund will be given if a commission is cancelled after the sketching stage.
⇢ If for any reason I cannot complete your commission, a full refund will be provided.C. If money has not been sent and accepted yet, the commissioner has the right to cancel.D. If a chargeback is filed against the artist, the commissioner’s rights will be automatically and immediately retracted.
⇢ The artist will have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to a new buyer.
⇢ The commissioner will be blacklisted and will not be able to request commissions again.
